The installation process for Project Paradise 2 is quite simple.
You should already have the game installed. It will never be up to date in its default state and needs to be updated first.
First, download our launcher (use the packed version which does not require .NET Core installation.
if the launcher fails to start, use the unpacked version).
The launcher is designed to start the game from any location, so just move the launcher to your desktop.
Now, open the launcher and navigate to the "Settings" on the left side. First, you need to set the game directory.
To do this, click the button shown in the picture below (the language may vary depending on the user's region).
After clicking the button, a window will open. Navigate to the folder where you installed the game.
In this folder, you will see several files. It is important to select the file
The launcher will now ask if you are using the packed (original, unmodded) version of the game.
If the game is freshly installed, confirm this by selecting "Yes."
The version should normally be displayed in red, which in my case is green. This is normal, as mentioned earlier,
because the game always comes un-updated. In the next step, we will update the game to the latest version.
To do this, click the button as shown. A console-like window will open.
The launcher will now download a list of all the files the game needs from the server.
Once this list is downloaded, the launcher will start comparing the files. Missing files will be added,
and outdated files will be automatically updated. Let the launcher do its work.
The time required can vary significantly depending on your PC's performance and internet speed.
Warning: If you already have an unpacked version of the game, do not run the file check as it can corrupt the game.
It is better to reinstall it to ensure you have the latest updates.
After the installation is complete, you can unpack the game again if needed.
